Working In A Series….part two

Recently I wrote about working in a series and how it can facilitate a breakthrough.  Well the day after I wrote those words I experienced one in working on the “Umbrella Series”.  The series was very well received at the Westport Show in July.  This is the painting I felt pushed me further into exploring color and reflective light on the umbrellas.  They have so many different facets of light to work with and are reflecting as well as transmitting light through the fabric.
