The color red…

The first flower I bought for my gardens this year was a hot pink/red geranium.  It was perfect.  Not too red not too pink.  It begged to be painted.  The color was gorgeous! Geraniums have a contemporary feel about them so they can be used in unusual compositions.  Here is the first of many paintings I plan to paint of this stunning plant.  Lets hope it lives well into the winter since I potted it so it will be around after the gardens have faded.
